Pathfinders est un groupe de Groove Metal Français fondé en 2018 à Fontainebleau (Seine et Marne). Le nom est tiré de la sonde spatiale 'Mars Pathfinder' lancée par la NASA en Décembre 1996 et l'univers du groupe s'inspire en grande partie de ce thème.
Le groupe est actuellement composé (par ordre d'intégration) de Jérémy Gaucher (Basse), de son frère Romain Gaucher (Guitare), de Jérémy Barthélémy (Batterie), de Benjamin Daguet (Guitare), et de Clément Levy (Chant). Tous faisaient parti de groupes de métal quand ils se sont connus bien avant la création de Pathfinders, et se sont déjà partagés la scène quelques fois de part leur proximité géographique. Certains membres ce sont fait endorser par des marques. Ils ont donc tous une bonne expérience de la scène et de la musique à la création de Pathfinders.
Depuis sa création, Pathfinders à enregistré un album du nom de "Ares Vallis" constitué de 12 titres qui est sorti le 16 Avril 2021 avec le label 'Music Records'. Il a la particularité d'avoir entièrement été 'fait maison' (arrangement, enregistrement, mixage, mastering). Les paroles sont toutes en Anglais.
Associé au Metalcore, Pathfinders se distingue dans la scène métal par la sensibilité écologique et sociale de leur chansons. Leur style se rapproche de celui des groupes Periphery, Lamb of God, ou encore In Flames.
En 2020 ils rejoignent la communauté 'Team Nowhere' (auprès de groupes comme Enhancer, AqMe, Pleymo, Bukowski, LANDMVRKS...) reformée par David Giltis (chanteur de Enhancer) dans le but de promouvoir la musique Rock/Metal en réunissant groupes et acteurs de la musique afin de s'entraider. Ils signent également chez le label indépendant 'Music Records'.
Pathfinders is a French Groove Metal band formed in 2018 in Fontainebleau. Their name comes from NASA’s space probe ‘Mars Pathfinder’ launch in December 1996, and the band’s universe is mainly inspired from this.
The band’s lineup (in order of integration), consisting of brothers Jérémy Gaucher (Bass) and Romain Gaucher (Guitar), Jérémy Barthélémy (Drums), Benjamin Daguet (Guitar), and Clément Levy (Lead Vocals), has been the same since the band was create. They were all part of metal bands when they got to know each other long before Pathfindres was created, and they have already shared the stage a few times due to their geographical proximity. Some members were endorsed by brands. So they all have good stage and music experience when creating Pathfinders.
Since its creation, Pathfinders has recorded an album consisting of 12 tracks named "Ares Vallis" released on April 16, 2021 with the label 'Music Records. It has the particularity of having been entirely 'homemade' (arrangement, recording, mixing, mastering). Lyrics are all in English.
Associated with Metalcore, Pathfinders stands out in the metal scene by the ecological and social sensitivity of their songs. Their music looks like bands Periphery, Lamb of God, or In Flames.
In 2020 they integrated the 'Team Nowhere' community (with famous French bands like Enhancer, AqMe, Pleymo, Bukowski, LANDMVRKS...) create in order to promote Rock / Metal music by bringing together bands and all music professions to help each other. They also signed with the French independent label 'Music Records'.
